Hi all, my name is Nate Parker and I am a rising senior this year. I’ve swam for the Fins for 8 years and have coached for 2. Outside of fins swimming, I swim club for RESY and high school at Northgate/Avonworth. Extracurricularly I participate in the high school musical and mathematics and data science competitions. I’m ecstatic for another season at Franklin Ridge and to see lots of new and familiar faces!
Hello Fins! My name is Lex Akhavan and I am a rising senior at Shady Side Academy. I have been swimming competitively for 6 years now. I started USA swimming in 8th grade for ANSC, and I am now going into my 3rd year on the Racer X Aquatics team. I coached last year and am excited to coach for the Fins again this year. Aside from swimming, I love sneakers, food and playing the guitar. I am thrilled to work with all of our swimmers, whether you are new to the team and just starting out, or are a returning and experienced swimmer. GO FINS!
Hello, my name is Lorelai Quinet I have swam on Franklin Ridge swim team for eight years. This year, I will be an upcoming Senior at North Allegheny high school, where i also participate in their Swim team year-round. This will be my second year coaching, and I am so excited to help the younger kids learn to love the sport as much as I do, and teach them a skill they will have for a lifetime. A little bit more about me is that in my free time I love to hang out with my friends and family, read a book, or go shopping. Lastly, I am looking forward to having an amazing fun and exciting summer with all of the kids.
Hi! My name is Kate Dudro, and I’m excited to be back with the Franklin Ridge Fins as a Coach this summer. I started my own swim journey with the Fins many years ago, so it’s especially meaningful for me to return and help coach the kids. I’ve been part of the Franklin Ridge swim team for eight years and swim year-round with Allegheny North Swim Club (ANSC). I’m also a member of the North Allegheny Swim and Dive Team, and I’ll be a junior at North Allegheny High School this fall. I especially enjoy working with younger swimmers and helping them build confidence in the water while having fun. Outside of the pool, I love spending time with friends and family, watching my favorite shows, and going shopping. I’m looking forward to another great summer with the Fins!
Hi! My name is Kaitlyn Klaum and I have been a member of the Fins since 2016! I will be a junior in the fall at Avonworth High School. I swim year round for Steel City Aquatics and recently finished my sophomore season with Northgate/Avonworth high school swim! Outside of swim I am on the Avonworth cross country team, play flute in the Avonworth musical, and play piccolo in the Avonworth marching band. I’m so excited for my second year of coaching this team!

Hi Fins! My name is Neysa Watts, and I’ll be a 9th grader at Avonworth High School this year. I’ve been swimming for as long as I can remember, and I currently swim for Northgate Aquatics and Avonworth—this will be my 6th year with the Fins! Outside of swimming, I enjoy cross country, acting, and singing. I also love dancing, especially hip hop and Bollywood. When I’m not busy with activities, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my friends. I’m really excited for my first year as a junior coach, getting to know everyone better, and having another great season with the Fins!
Hi! My name is Logan O’Keefe and I’m excited to be joining the coaching staff this summer! My swimming journey actually started with the Fins when I was 7 years old. I had so much fun and loved swimming so much that I decided to tryout for ANSC to swim year-round. I’ve been with ANSC for 9 years now and just finished my freshman year on the NA Swim and Dive Team. When I’m not in the pool, I enjoy traveling, golfing, skiing, sports, and the outdoors! After doing summer swim for a little, I decided to try out for ANSC. I ended up making the team and now have been swimming on ANSC for 6 years. I just finished my freshman season on the NA Swim and Dive team. Outside of the pool, I love hanging out with my friends, watching movies, and going shopping.
